Astrologers in the Bible... The Lord Jesus is the only ONE that can Tell the Future.. Dividers of the heavens Daniel 1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. Daniel 2:27 and 28 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, and soothsayers, shew unto the king; But there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and maketh known the king Neb-u-chad-nez'-zar what shall be in the latter days. They dream, and the visions of thy head upon they bed, are these; Isaiah 47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the groud: there is no throne O daughter of the Chal-de;-ans: for though shalt no more be called tender and delicate. Isaiah 47: 13 Thou art wearied in the multitude of they counsels, Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly prognosticators, stand up, and save thee from these things that shall come upon thee. Isaiah 47: 14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame; there shall not be a coal of warm at, nor fire to sit before it Daniel 4: 7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chal-de'-ans, and the soothsayers: and I told the dreams before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation thereof. Daniel 5: 7 and 8 The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chal-de'-ans, and the soothsayers. And the king spake, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever shall read this writing, and shew me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom. Then came in all the king's wise men: but they could not read the writing, nor make known to the king the interpretaton thereof.

Well God in the Old Testament is said to be a jealous God. And I believe he made a covenant with Man about that...hence the more forgiving God in the New Testament.
But I wouldn't go as far as describing Him in those words...after all you wouldn't to upset Him.

It is unnecessary to leave Genesis to conclude the God of the bible is a homicidal psychopath and sexual deviant.
You know when a "God" approves of two men (Abraham/Isaac) prostituting their wives (Sarai/Rebekah), of a man (Lot) impregnating his two virgin (preteen) (sluts) daughters, a 40 year old taking a 3 year old as a bride (Isaac/Rebekah), not to mention the inestimable number of people murdered in Genesis, you are not dealing with a rational entity, God or otherwise.
If the bible was even remotely true, the "God" of the bible is "Satan" and anyone who worships him is one sick puppy.

You are not the only one but there are a lot of lost souls like you out there. Read it again and pray for understanding. Even in the Old Testament He punished only as a last resort and after He had warned people OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again. And then He always restored and loved and forgave them knowing that people were gonna sin OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER and OVER again anyway. I think that God is an awesome God. If I was God i would have destroyed humanity immediately after creation! LOL

many people dont understand that God is loving and foriving God the reason God allowed those things to happen was because people were worshping idoles statues and other things instead of God.its a lot like today many people worship statues and so many things along with God but God says in the ten commandment (the second one) you shouldnt. thats why many people live like they do miserable.

Who needs the whole OT? Genesis and Exodus are enough to demonstrate what a sadistic psychopath he is.

It says we were put on earth to suffer and prove that we are worthy of heaven. No one says you have to believe it. But if it is true and you choose to live life hating and killing other people then you may have to face hell when you die. you decide what works for you.
