Who was Abu Ruqayya Tamim ibn Aus Ad-Dari?

I know he was someone that reported hadiths for the Prophet (SAW) but does anyone out there know some information about him or a link I could go in order to learn more about him? Thankz. Relevent answers please!

To my knowledge there was no one by that name ever associated with any of the prophets, and I studied them quite a bit. To be honest, that doesn't even seem like a Biblical name.
