If we don't need Hispanic labor, then why is it so easy for them to get jobs as illegal aliens? How many people do you know that are willing to work as hard as Mexicans and for crap wages? I'd say you either pick fruit all day in California on a pittance wage or shut up. Honestly, if you think the United States isn't dependent on these people, do some research on what happens when states like South and North Dakota enforce immigration laws and have to shut down plants because there aren't enough people to man them. And as for "we" not needing them, perhaps its just you that feels you can do all the labor in the US, so good luck with that. :D

Well, I guess Americans don't need hispanic labor, but does it really hurt that bad to have it? That was a question. I think that we can benefit from extra labor and it helps, but iilegals should try to do what they can to legalize themselves, just because that is the way America is. And since you're reading these, do you think hispanics take jobs that Americans would take?

My area needs them.I know this for a fact.I will not work in the shrimp house and I won't work at a plastics plant for 12 hrs a day for 7.50 an hour.And I did my time in the fields.I won't do that anymore either.
Don't get me wrong,I wouldn't starve,if I absolutely had to I would.

Are you sure? Many industries rely on migrant lablor (mostly Mexican) to survive.
