When my 19yr. old son died two years ago, I was ready to die so I could be with him again. To this day, I feel useless at times when I start thinking about things. It feels like I am being tortured everyday. But, I have a 20yr. old son that needs me from time to time. I have a wife that saves me everyday when I feel down. Today I feel like my family needs me here with them. I need to make sure that my youngest son does OK in life. I know how you feel, but you need to think about the people who love you.

My life IS falling apart as I sit here. I have lost more than most people could bear. I think about what I have left, and I see I have more left than people in some areas of the world have ever had the opportunities to gain! I am thankful to be here even when I am the saddest. I found that a thankful heart is a happy heart. I truly hope you can see past your feelings of hopelessness and find peace within yourself. Tomorrow could be different, live for it, or you'll never know!

You need to talk to somebody fast! It is normal to be down sometimes, but if you are feeling that way every day and you feel like there is no hope, you need to get some help! Talk to a friend or family member or a professional. Please! Life is worth living and things will get better. Killing yourself is not the answer. Think of what it will do to those you leave behind.

It is the most selfish thing you can do. And if you think your life is complicated now or you are unhappy now... imagine what it would be like if you failed in your attempt (and people do fail at it) and end up in a vegetative state, crippled, or in an institution.
If you are depressed get help, there are ways beyond this feeling. Better ways that allow you to live and don't affect every person who cares about you.

of course -- everyone has this same feeling at least once in their lifetime. but you just got to keep your chin up and realize that you are stronger than that and that worse things could happen. enjoy life to the fullest everyday and don't stress about the little things (especially the things we can't control) we will always have something that isn't going right but for some reason it happens for a reason..... we may not realize it right at that moment, but somewhere down the road - you will look back and be happy you were in that situation whether it is bad or good at that particular time to get where you are now. !!! BE STRONG !!!

i feel like that most days, just the other day i thought how easy it would be to swallow a bottle of sleeping pills, just to escape everything. But then i spoke to my best friend, he helped me to realize that even if my life is a **** hole, he still loves me and would be devastated if i did it. If things are really bad for you i would suggest seeking help from a friend, or someone you trust or even a counselor, i don't know your situation, but i bet there is someone that needs or wants you to be alive. If you want someone to talk to and that can somewhat maybe relate, email me at dogluver8906@yahoo.com. I'm always willing to at least listen, even if i can't help you solve your problems. I know from experience that sometimes it helps if you can at least talk about what's going on instead of bottling it all up. So again, if you want to talk email me at dogluver8906@yahoo.com or call this crisis hotline number (559)709-3918.

yeah, almost did actually. But then I thought of everything I'd be losing if i kill myself, and that gave me a new perspective in life.
You think you have a big problem? Consider this, would you deal with your problem right or would you rather be a beggar who can't even eat 3 times a day? Who's luckier?

I think a lot of people have a time in their life when everything seems hopeless. I know I did. I remember family and friends always telling me that things would change and get better and me thinking they were completely crazy. But it turns out that they were right and I can't believe that I ever doubted them. So whatever is going on in your life right now find someone you trust that you can talk to. Friends, family, or a counselor. Things will get better. Please don't resort to killing yourself. There are a lot of people who would miss you and you would miss out on a lot of memories.

Life is tough but killing yourself is not the answer. What if God sends you back to learn the lesson you missed out on the first time.
You got to keep going. You will find happiness. Get some counseling you really need it.
You can choose to be happy or you can choose to be sad and angry. Which do you want more?
God Bless You!

yep! Sure have, a couple of times actually. But instead of killing myself I'd go hang with friends or go run in the woods or just do SOMEthing... and if there were some serious long-term issues goin on I'd just resign myself to the reality of it and find shelter within myself... and eventually I'd come out the other end of the tunnel.

I used to fell like that often! I still do now and then, but not so much anymore. Maybe cuz i'm getting older. But ya i hade a pretty hard time dealling with things after my mom died...... i still do. But you just kinda gotta keep moving on........ it sucks and today was a bad day for me. Sometimes i do feel like dying, but then i really think about it and it's not the right answer.
