Am really close friends with a girl. At times, she calls me Hubi/Sweetie/Sunshine. She asked me out on a date and I said Yes. She then says that she just wants to be friends and was joking - I say OK.
Then she says she doesn't want a boyfriend ever because shes been hurt in the past and is looking for a husband. She askes me if I honestly like her - I say Yes. She says we should get to know each other - I say OK. A day later says she justs wants to be friends because she doesn't want to get hurt again and mess up our friendship!
What does it mean? Does she like me? Does she want to get married to me? Is she playing games?

Sounds like SHE doesn't even know what she wants, and it's a bit abnormal that one day she doesn't want a boyfriend, but then says she wants to be married - and all of this because she's been hurt before? If she isn't willing to try to move past the hurt that happened before, then you should find someone who truly is interested in going out and getting to know you, not someone who will jump from one extreme to another at the drop of a hat .. well the poor girl sounds really stressed out, she must have just gotten off from some relationship or she really really got hurt in her last relationship. she really likes you but doesnt know what to do, she doesnt want to get married, im 100% sure, she only says she doesnt want a bf but a husband, because she is dead scared of even finding a good one. its worse to find a 'husband' before starting off as a bf'.
my advice, first of all, calm her down, admit to her that you really like her, but you dont want to pressure her into anything, that it should be her decision to remain friends for now or go on together step by step as bf/gf. for this relationship you have really help her learn to trust men again and prove to her that you are the best and that (in the future future) that you really love her.

It means she is confused, or just really trying to test you. You should stay away from her for the time being and tell her yes i do like you, but i dont wanna go any further with you until you are stable. tell her she isnt the only one that doesnt want to get heart broken. tell her you have feelings 2. She might like you, but is afraid of being hurt. She might not care about you and just enjoy the apparent power she has over you.
Move on. She's either not worth your time (very insecure) or not worth the pain. Run away, as fast as you can.

I would say that she likes you but,.....since she has been hurt before, she doesn't want to go thru that again. Just take it slow. If it is supposed to happen, it will.
