A low carb diet consists of no starch products, no sugar, and no flour. Basically it's a "white" free diet. All starches have white flour (hence the "white" free diet). You cannot (or should not) eat potatoes, rice, macaroni, spaghetti, bread, anything made with flour, no sugar, and the like. Also you should not eat things with "natural" sugar (apples, pears, etc.) Corn & peas are also considered a "no-no" because of their starch content.
Try to stay with chicken, fish, salads (lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc). Please drink plenty of water as well. This will help your body to flush out any toxins which you may have built up. The water will also help your skin. By drinking a glass of water before you eat a meal, this will also help to "fill you up" so that you feel full and won't eat as much.
I lost 50 lbs on this diet in 6 months.
Good Luck....

Lots of grilled, plain chicken, green beans, salad with being very careful on dressing, eggs
We also found a great bread, the brand is Nature's Own I think, it counted as 2 points for 2 pieces. It was really good and I think it had double fiber written on the end of the loaf in purple.
Good luck to you!
