Drinking curdled milk is not safe in that drinking it will most likely result in a very upset stomach. Curdled milk has spoiled....either by getting too warm or by being outdated. It is FULL of bacteria.
Some people will tell you that it's the same as buttermilk...WRONG. Buttermilk is the liquid left in a churn or jar after butter has been made, and is fresh.

What kind of lumps are you talking about? Sometimes if your refrigerator's temperature is a bit too cold, milk can start to clump up and make pieces of milk-ice. So you could literally have milk ice cream in your carton of milk.
Don't forget to check the expiration date, that's always a good sign whether to lay off it and go buy some more. Smell it just in case, sometimes it smells bad before expiration date.

I bought a carton of milk that had lumps in it before. Since I saw the lumps in it, I took it back to the place I bought it from, and the clerk notice that the expiration date had expired. On a different occasion, my refrigerator setting was to cold, and the clumps in my milk were actually ice I hope this will help you.

If there's one BIG lump - then probably not, however if there are lots and lots of tiny 'lumps' then it's still okay to drink.
The big giveaway with milk is the smell; if it don't smell good then it won't taste good!
Milk won't poison you though, remember what cheese is made from - so I can't see how milk 'on the turn' could do you any harm.

Only if you've had it in the freezer and they're ice chunks. Otherwise they're at best "curdled milk". Take a sniff of it and see if that's what you would like to put in your mouth. Why would you even want to drink it, or is this question just a joke to see what people will answer?

I sure wouldn't drink it! It's probably spoiled. But if you mean really HARD lumps, like some foreign matter, I'd take it back where you bought it and complain. They should replace it with a fresh bottle.

It wasn't safe to drink about a week before the clumps. Check the expiration date.

If it has lumps in it then it has gone off so it's not recommended that you drink it, it will make you sick and give you a bad stomach if not it will give you something much worse.

Yes, you can drink it actually.
As long as there's no obvious mold and it doesn't smell like death. Curdled milk is often used to make cheeses and other dairy byproducts, and Buttermilk is created by using soured milk as well.
