...So how come all the ozone doesn't just go on up to the "ozone layer" and fill in the "hole"?

I don't git it either. They say that aerosol cans are bad for the ozone...but how in the da heck can it get up in the sky through all those layers and destroy it?

Like water, air, and everything else, ozone has a 'specific gravity'.
It takes time to get to that elevation and specific location.

You would think that was possible. I guess the ozone doesn't stretch or patch.

There are too many layers of atmosphere that it would need to go through and there is just no driving force for it to go there.
