I am meeting a guy for coffee tomorrow and he knows i dont' have a car. I picked a place near me to meet and it's not far from him either, He wanted to meet at a place closer to him because he wanted to be able to park in from of the shop so he wouldn't have to walk in the hot sun. The place I chose requires him to walk from the parking lot into the mall. He isn't old and is healthy as far as I know or he wouldn't be able to do the stuff he talked about doing for fun. I have to walk to and from the bustop and across the parking lot and so I will be in the sun too. I find it insensitive of him to complain about walking a little when I will be out in the sun a lot more than him and I'm human too. I think it is rude to complain about having to walk a short ditstance when the other person has to walk alot. Am I right or just judging him?

I haven't met him yet so I can't let him pick me up at m place and he know I don't have a car. I just think he shouldn't complain about walking from his car in the mall parking lot to the mall (I mean everyone does that , don't they). He wants to meet somewhere were he can park in front . I just find it stupid to be so petty to someone who HAS to walk in the sun everyday.

He's certainly not a gentleman, do you really want to lower your standards? i don't think so or you wouldn't have asked this question, so you already know he's a waster. This is a sign of thngs to come. A little walk in the sun "now", you making his tea and taking it to him every day for the "rest of your life". Don't waste your time on this loser. I hate modern day blokes, they're so CRAP. Makes it hard for decent blokes like me, ones with manners and etiquette, (yes we still exist), because decent women won't give us the time of day as they think we are being pleasant for alternative motives. My little rant over lol, seriously, stick to your own standards and meet someone who is worth it. Don't waste your time on this guy!

I think it is a little rude for him to suggest that. Maybe if he was in a wheel chair or on crutches he could suggest a place where he wouldn't have to walk far from his car, but I think ihe is being insensitive.

He is self-absorbed and rude! He should be picking you up, or if you don't want him to know where you live, he should be meeting you at a place closest to you. I wouldn't even bother with him if I were you. Just call him up and say you changed your mind, you don't want to get into a relationship with someone who is going to treat you with such unimportance!

You're both complaining, you're just doing it on the Internet. If you think it's insensitive, TELL HIM. Gosh...

Otherwise, he may not know. Men are not mind-readers.

Does he even know your situation?

The guys a jerk. He should pick you up and take you to where ever YOU want to go to. He should be treating you better.
