Would you automatically associate that with geek or loser? I'm just curious, I shy away from telling girls about that.

I never had a problem with it - in fact I watch all those shows too! My hubby and I both like sci-fi type stuff.

Well, I do, yes, but the ironic thing is that I watch Star Trek and another one called Battlestar Galactica constantly. Sci Fi I like my obsession. And yet, I can't get myself away from thinking that yes, those things scream, "GEEK!". So I guess that I am a Geek as well, lol.

I am not a sci fi person but it seems guys really like that kinda stuff. Someone guys are geeks no matter what they watch. Its more so a guy needs to be well rounded, not just into his sci fi stuff, not just into sports and not just into his won thing. He needs to know a bit about other things then he wont be a geek

I was never a geek in highschool but i attracted to them like wild fire even till today i have to admit they are hot. What they watch dosen't bug me as long as they pay attention to me more than babylon 5. And it would only work if they liked starwars beacuse i am a huge starwars fan. well besides that geeks are sexy stuff

NO that is just what you like to watch...silly if a girl thinks of you as a geek or loser because of a show on TV you like to watch...

I only get worried if they start wearing the clothes , like the star trek uniforms or they collect the action figures.....
Besides some geeks are really hot!

I think its cool. it means that you are willing to learn more different things. You shouldn't be unwilling to tell girls that. If they like you too, then the fact that you watch sci-fi, and other movies related to that genre shouldn't really matter to them. I think its ok. I would want someone who watched sci-fi more than somebody who would look at cartoons. Its cool.

i dont care about what a guy watches, has long as he makes me smile, but most of my friends do associate those shows with geeks and losers, but if this girl is worth having you she shouldnt care about that stuff

Kinda geeky. Save that personal part of your life private for maybe a fourth or fifth encounter with a girl. Don't tell her right away

well no, because everyone has their own interests and its not fair to judge someone just b/c what they like happens to be something 'uncool.' to me, what matters is whats on the inside, if someones like really geeky, but has a super personality-then thats a keeper, but if someones really hot with the worst personality- then whos gonna be interested? besides, scifi isnt all that bad even though i'm not much of a fan.
