I think you should follow your dream. You can see your friens all other time, if they r your real friends, they will like your decision. If being an artist is your dream, you should go to charter school. yor friends should not forget you if they are your real friends. Think abou it , and deside by yourself....

Hmm that's a good question - but it's not one I can make for you, you have to decide yourself. Trust me, if you give it a lot of thought you'll come up with the answer that best suits you.
If you end up going to public school you will be with your friends, but let's be honest, in school you have to see more of who you don't want to see than your actual friends. Sometimes you don't get in any of their classes and whatnot.
On the other hand if you went to the charter school you would be securing, so to say, your dream career early in your life (which is a good thing). Think of the opportunities, you can see your friends after school anyway.
But if you want to go to public school it's up to you. I don't know you so I can't make this decision for you, just think about this and make the choice you're happy and confident you can go somewhere with. Good luck and I hope that helped!

As a public school teacher, I'd go for the charter school. Friends fade away, but your education is something that you'll have forever. You seem to be a mature person if you're even considering it. Best of luck either way!

Go to the charter school. You will make new friends as well as stay in contact with your old friends. I you can be accepted into the art school, it may be your only chance to persue your dreams.

Many public schools are top notch. Newsweek Magazine recently published a list of the top 100. You can get a wonderful education in these schools. Many kids have gotten full scholarships to the best art schools after graduating from public schools.
BUT, you can't let yourself get distracted by your friends and a mad social life. Put your education first.

You must decide between what you like to do and where you want to reach...
The only way to decide is to put your mind in to having big parties and a lot of friends or getting a recognized school degree...

education isnt everything......yeah you can go to a fancy school that could be better than the public school but you'll be miserable! and it could very well ruin your teenage years........stop worrying about your future LIVE NOW and what ever the future brings GO WITH THAT!!
