has any one ever heard of Youth With A Mission (YWAM)? If so what do you know and think about the Organization?

My experience was quite good. I've heard that each location (country) may vary considerably in personality. It would probably be beneficial to ask questions directly to the location in which you are interested.

Y.W.A. M. started in the 1960s by Loren Cunningham.
He went to the Assembly of God to tell them about what God was directing him to do and they told him that there was not way it was from God. He is now recognizes by most of the main bodies of Christianity.
He started it and almost 40 years later it is recognized in almost every country. He has a university in Hawaii that is world renown.
This is a first class organization.
