I have used Matrix Biolage products for years, and they do pretty good. But you have to get them at a beauty supply store. They don't stock this brand in most stores.
But I did try Dove shampoo and conditioner, and I like it. It is less expensive than Matrix Biolage, so I'm considering switching to Dove. I love their soap and I'm impressed with their shampoo. And you can get Dove products anywhere.

Garnier Fructis is great, so is Pert, Suave shampoo & conditioners, & Pantene. I rotate the stock to keep from shampoo build-up weighing down my fine hair.

What you are using is very good. The important thing about buying the right over-the-counter shampoo and conditioner is that you are buying the right kind for your hair within the brand. I prefer Pantene Pro-V and I use the color-treated hair formula because I dye my hair. If you have thin hair you would want to use the volumizing, and so on...

johnson baby shampoo. Its gentle and actually works great! If you are trying to get a shampoo that provides extra styling help (like body or makes it curly) Pantene pro-v smells really good. I like garnier conditioners though.

I use VO5. It is cheap and I also use Suave daily clarifying shampoo. The clarifying shampoo takes out all the build up in the hair and cleans it out. But what you are using is also good.

What ever you use make sure it is clear in color. What I mean is that it can be yellow but clear. Pantene for example is a solid white. A solid color like that indicates wax. I have found the best deal to be Treseme' (spell?)

Suave at $1.29 is better than others at 10 times the price.

We like the Trader Joe's shampoo. Natural, and keeps our hair nice.
