I am so sick of these human vermon out there that are abusing workman's comp. I am not talking about the people that have legitimate claims. I am talking about the leaches out there that are sniffing around for that magic payoff that will keep them in beer and cigarettes for lifetime. I am interested in what everyone thinks about this topic. I am sick of it.

I have an idea. Hire a private investigation firm to gather facts on suspected abuse. Take the former employee to court to recover costs of the private investigation.

Of course, terminate the scumbag in the process.

Workmen's (worker's) comp abuse is way too prevalent, and their fraud division is not staffed well enough to try to address all the problems. One can only hope that someday they will find a way to keep Bubba from turning his sprained ankle into a permanent disability. I am in a city that has a major employer whose low end employees are basically hillbilly types who live to do things like this. Anything so they can get out of work putting tab A into slot B 8 hours a day, and anything to afford their new pickup, bass boat, RV, or Harley. Never mind that their union gets them cadillac wages and benefits to start with, for basically doing retard work. Don't get me started.

I don't care about people who abuse workers comp. What got you so hyped on this topic? Are you an insurer? Are you an employer paying workers comp insurance? Is your brother-in-law living with you and abusing workers comp?

I don't mean to answer in a snide or malicious way. I just don't see the point in getting the bee out of the bonnet.

It's workers Comp. Not workmans. The name was changed in 1967.

I didn't miss the point. I addressed the only interesting part of the question.
