It really depends. I personally like a girl who I could just go out and have a good time with. If she looks good thats basically just a bonus for me.

I would say that there's an initial appraisal... whether someone is *acceptable* or not. I mean if they are too fat, too skinny, or just too damned ugly, you're never going to get over it. But there's a wide space in between that's just fine.

From there, its all about the rest of the stuff. Personality, smarts, humor, etc. I think that if all those things are there, the person's physical beauty is focused in your mind. If not... well I knew this lady once... slim, tall, blonde hair and blue eyes. Everyone wanted to work with her. Until she opened her mouth and stupid things started coming out of it. By the time she left, all I could think of every time I saw her was how yellow her teeth were.

I don't know about girls, but in women i look for the face and how good they look in my book, and then I look at the body, is that the type of body i want my kids to inherit if I was to marry the woman?
in my case, a very active woman, who doesent mind a little workout every now and then, and likes sports.....
