I park my car in front of my neighbhors house sometimes and she is crazy. She always comes out screaming at me saying she is going to call the police. Is there any law against parking in front of someones house as long as you are not blocking there driveway?

Not unless your city has a speicfic local code about it.

And of course it is a public street ( not private) and it is on a public right of way, not blocking someones drive.

so let her call the police, if we are wrong the worst they should do is merley ask you to move it.

Or if you live in Atlanta, they will laugh at the lady on the phone, since they are so busy they don't even come if your car has been broken into ( they really don't, they merley tell you to call and report it over the phone the next day)

I have the same problem with the Nazi across the street. She will leave notes about everything. On the car don't park here. On the door mow your grass....trim your bushes, etc. Once had a dream about her mowing my lawn. The old gas bag. Anyway long as you are a few feet from her mailbox and driveway she doesn't own the street and can not tell you what to do. Me I like to sleep at night. So I park away from her so called space.

Next time, try parking on your neighbor.

There may be bylaws or some other issue with parking on the street. If she was really going to do it, she'd have called the police.

But really dude, it's her house, park in front of your own.

If you are parking on the street... there is nothing she can do. Our neighbors pak thier boat in front of our place all the time..
I'm only annoyed if they block the mailbox (the mailman will not stop if the box is blocked).

The nut case should call the police.

I agree have her call the cops as long as you are telling the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Just parking in front of her house on a public street?

As long as you aren't parking on her lawn, then no. If she is truly crazy though, I would park in your own driveway or in front of your house so she doesn't do something like slash your tires.

I think you are right...she is crazy...Some folks have nothing else to worry about. Our local laws say it is ok. Be sure you are 'legally' parked. If you are still in doubt, call the police dispatcher and ask.

For the sake of peace park somewhere else. I don't think she is going to stop making an issue of it. Still, I don't believe you are breaking any law.

No. It's a public street. Encourage her to call the police.
