English - native, but with Polish smile
Polish - very faint accent, but otherwise perfect
French - supposedly literary-quality
German - with thick Bavarian accent
Bavarian - understand but don't speak
Italian - read/understand/sing for my supper
Russian - if at a loss, speak Polish w/ (I hope) Russian endings
Chinese - enough to write e-mails with liberal use of dictionary
Czech, Slovak, Ukrainian - thank God they understand Polish
Spanish, Dutch, Middle English - more or less read
Hebrew - Shema/V'Ahavta, religious concepts
Arabic - al-Fatiha, religious concepts
Cat, Pigeon - basic meows and coos
Japanese - essentially forgot whatever I once knew
Greek - wish I knew it, but all I can say is the Lord's Prayer...

I speak five. English, Korean, Xhosa, Zulu and Dutch. Coming from South Africa you need to study English and Afrikaans. Dutch is a must at university level if you wanna further your studies in languages. Latin, I did because I wanted to do Law Studies. My professors told me to study African Languages and Korean I picked up from the locals in Seoul.
