If you are a person with a disability e.i. major depression. and taking anti-depressant. DOT says they have no problem with it. Any suggestions?

They are looking for illegal substances not anti-deppressants. If for some reason you are taking a Class of meds for ADD or Anxiety meds like Xanax the only thing they can ask is what Doctor prescribes them and they confirm that the prescriptions written are for you then nothing else will be said. They will not hold that against you.

They are not testing for scrips but some meds will give false positives for opiates and marijuana so they ask that they might get correct results.

They just ask what medications you take incase something shows up on the drug test. Like saying you take sudafed and pseudomedaphine showing up, this means you take Sudafed and not meth
