speaking from personal experience....I didn't figure that one out until I was about 30. At that point in my life, I finally realized that a boorish, inconsiderate, overconfident, ego maniac was not my cup of tea.
I found that the quiet, unassuming man that I had known for years was the most wonderful man to ever walk the planet. We were together for 12 years before he died. I still miss his quiet confidence.
Drama and dysfunction are way overrated in my opinion, why would a person want to come home everyday to some different drama or argument? That is no way to live your life.
As strange as it may sound, if you quit looking, the right girl for you will find you and knock your socks off! You won't even see her coming.

I would have to say women over 30. After 30 I had a tendancy to look for qualities in a man from the inside and not look too much at the outside.
As we get older we learn to appreciate those types of things.

Some just don't learn.
Others just give up and switch sides.
The ones that ACTUALLY learn (b/c if they didn't learn the first or second time, they fall into one of the categories above) do so after they open their eyes to that nice guy that God put in front of them and that bad boy kicked them to the curb, cheated on them, left them, etc...
Your goal should be to date the ones that actually are mature. Because if that's who they dating, they probably got some baggage too.
