Honey, go buy "Uristat" by the makers of Monastat. It will ease your discomfort and make the "burn" feeling go away when you urinate. In the mean time...make an appointment with your Dr. and go get the medicine to clear up the UTI....all you have to do is pee in a cup. Most Dr.'s use a color coded strip that they put in the urine sample so, you need to NOT take the uristat about 24 hours before your appointment because the uristat will make your urine this wierd orange color and that will make it hard for the lab to read the color coded strip. Don't put off the appointment for sure...the UTI will only get worse. Good luck.

My mom gets those all the time--I'd go see your doctor because usually an antibiotic clears that up in a few days I think. If you can't go right away (you should...you'll feel better faster) try drinking tons of water and cranberry juice. The cranberry juice may be more of a preventative measure, though. Maybe they could even just phone you in a script to your pharmacy if they know your history and you tell them you took a home test and it was positive. But they don't make money that way, do they?

Drink a LOT of cranberry and blueberry juice!!! When you think youve drunk enough, drink more!!!!! Cranberry and blueberry have certain antioxidants that clear out your intestinal and urinary tracts. Also, keep an eye on your temperature. If you go over 102 or so, time to get an emergency appt. Your doc will give you an antibiotic.

Cranberry juice (real juice) and cranberry pills can help with mild UTI, bladder infections, and kidney infections. But only very mild cases. If it is bad enough that you are uncomfortable, go to your doctor. The antibiotics will clear it up quickly.

It won't cure it, but try drinking LOTS of cranberry juice, and also you can buy a cranberry pill supplement called AZO that also makes a huge difference. Start that now, and then make sure to get in to your doctor. A little Motrin wouldn't hurt either for pain relief.

You should drink LOTS of water and eat YOGURT!!! LOTS OF YOGURT!!! If your infection is bad enough, all you need is anti-biotics. Just CALL your doctor's office and tell them you have a UTI and need antibiotics. They may just prescribe it by phone if you tell them which pharmacy you pick up your prescriptions at. GOOD LUCK!!!

nothing otc for that, i'm afraid. You need to see the dr. to get antibiotics to kill the infection. This will not go away on its own. Plz get it looked at before you do damage to yourself. And how are you bearing the pain?!! U are a brave soul!
