My guess is that you would try to stop it right away. In that moment, would you be more ethical than God who does not stop children from being molested?

Its not fair to say God does not stop those that are molesting children. That was why he gave us authorities over us. Our parents, our teachers, our religious leaders etc.
If they are not able to protect us, it is unfair to blame God. I would of course immediately stop the act, God help me if i don't kill him.

Your question is odd and accusing of things I don't think you completely understand (and don't get me wrong, i don't understand it either). God is not being unethical by not stopping someone from being molested. Hello? We don't live in Heaven, that's why nothing is perfet, and unfortunately bad things happen...a VERY bad thing happened to me when I was 8, but I don't go and accuse the Lord of being unethical...
And t o answer the 1st part of your question (forgive me Lord) but I would murder the person right then and there (but that is cuz I am human and I am not perfect, and I cannot forgive as easily as the Lord, and I have free will) Maybe next time you should ask what you really mean instead of beating around the bush, or just beat around the bush without the accusing details of ignorance (We are all ignorant, I am not purposely attacking you)

yeah, i would! i was molested once, there was no penetration but it was still a bit traumatic. i doubt that you would be more ethical than god at that moment and you would get so much crap from hardcore christians for that comment. i think god is nature. he lives in the trees and the birds and the air. he's constantly watching and takes a passive role in the lives of people. he makes the greats and breaks the suckers. people always say things happen for a reason, and i think partially it's correct, and partially it's not. what happens to the girls who were molested as a child and then grows into a hooker and a drug addict who dies in the sewers and nobody ever finds the body? what about them? their deaths were insignificant in that respect that it didn't actually change anyone.

Would I stop it - YES!! God gave each of us free will and unfortunately that even goes to the child molester. My free will would be to stop the molester. God does not see one sin as greater than the other. ALL SIN is wrong in God's eyes, but all sins can be forgiven except for the sin against the Holy Spirit. The sin against the Holy Spirit is refusing to accept God's forgiveness through the shedding of Jesus Christ's blood that has washed those that have truly repented of their sins, asked for forgiveness and turned their life over to Him.

We are the ones that must be ethical, we are the ones with the free will to make the choices between right and wrong and we all have to live with the consequences of not only our actions, but the actions of others as well.

the guy to blame right it is your mom for no longer helping the two one among you. You have been the two very youthful and toddlers do a little atypical issues while their hormones are commencing to alter. you're an fairly person , articulate individual now. Your sister isn't a new child molester, no longer. You 2 be responsive to what did no longer take place and that she did no longer reason you any everlasting injury. the two one among you will desire to consult a counselor, without your mom, or with in case you opt for for. basically toddlers enjoying and experimenting. No molester on your loved ones, basically a mom who's overreacting.

I liked Don S."s answer, because even Christians would kill to protect their children. If that means were not as ethical as God, so be it. God already knows that. God created the animals too, but didn't give them the knowledge, as He gave mankind. Even the animals are smart enough to protect their young! I believe that God would lead me into the situation, to do whats necessary to protect my child.

I'm not a parent, but I imagine I'd rip that monster away from my child and scoop my child up and take him/her away to safety. I think then I'd go back to the monster, grab a lamp or something, and start swinging!

As for God, I believe you are asking this because it's a passionate subject, and so lots of people will take notice. That way you get the chance to insult God and let lots of people see it. You want to get a rise out of people.

Yes,I'd do alot about it.
There is God and there is Satan,They are both here. It is not the will of GOD for you or children to suffer,it is the will of Satan. Maybe the evil molester shouldn't be allowed out of prison! Cause most of them are.

The thing is yes I would stop it right away and do you know why God doesn't? Because if He always was stopping that horrible stuff would we really have any reason to believe in Him?If life was just perfect would we need Him to save us? No, probably not.The other reason He doesn't always help is because we are supposed to believe in Him without all this proof!

I would stop it immediately. But that doesn't make me more ethical than God. God lets wickedness happen for various reasons: to make us stronger, to give the wicked enough rope to hang themselves with (so to speak), or to give us the opportunity to choose between good and evil. So I wouldn't say God is unethical or anything, for His ethics are the ones WE need to understand and apply in our lives and follow ourselves.
