and a casual french kiss is cool. He tried different sort of people of different ages and gender. It grows intimacy between buddies irrespective of their gender and age. Now he wants to french kiss my dog Chubby and wants to see it's reaction. I am confused. He's telling me it's just fun.

no , you aren't confused, he is confused. what can be fun about kissing a dog? he will be trying to bone your dog next (just for fun).
if he is trying to make you jealous, he is going about it the wrong way. is the dog male or female, it really doesn't matter until he tries to bone it. now we know why he is your ex.

Thats kind of out there really would you have kissed him when he was your bf if you know he wanted to used you just to get at your dog. I wouldnt let him dog sit. Thats not fun its sick
