Absolutely. Hell, there are people I work with who get upset if our boss doesn't apprise us of recent news every couple of weeks.
These Christians deserve to have some kind of appendage tacked onto the Bible, at least something that ratifies current Fundamentalist thinking and prevents them from being the hypocrites they've become.
Why, it's almost been 2,000 years since there was any news in the Good Book. It's about time some phrophet or the G-man himself descended from the heavens and spoke to his peeps.
And so say all of us...

Anyone who thinks Christianity stands for hating anyone is grossly out of touch.
Christianity espouses love because God IS love. What is the opposite of Love? Why, 'hate', of course. Hate is ungodly.
Homosexuals are not hated by Christians. It is not a sin to be homosexual. Having said that, homosexual sex is sinful because it is an offense to chastity. By the way, heterosexuals are also called to chastity.
What's more, nowhere does it say anyone is condemned to hell simply on account of the fact one is a homosexual. If a homosexual commits a sin of an adulterous nature, so be it. If they repent and confess, the sin is forgiven.
Homosexuals have the same chances of getting into Heaven as heterosexuals do.
"Love they Neighbor" is fine the way it is because it promotes unconditional love with our fellow man. God loves all of us unconditionally. In the interest of being Christ-like, we should make every effort to do that to.

Well, no we can't update the Bible. The problem is that some people (even some 'claiming' to be Christians) take certain parts of the Bible and twist them around for their own purposes. I do my absolute best to love my neighbor; however, I cannot love the sinful desires they may choose to do. My calling as a Christian is to love the sinner, and hate the sin. I mean, let's be real -- we're all sinners, and we all need the love and grace of God in our lives.

I'm Christian and I love homosexuals, atheist, killers, etc...so no, I would say let's not update it, because that would be bad and the bible says not to do that!

The Bible says love your neighbor, but it doesn't say approve of their sin. It is an act of love to tell people that their behavoir is immoral and will lead to hell. You are looking out for their souls and want them to follow God. We will never approve or praise SIN.

By no means. The Bible doesn't change with the cultural changes. The Bibles the same yesterday, today and forever.

It already says that, and it means all people. Hate the sin, love the soul. We can love the soul, but we don't have to like what the soul doe's. Matter of fact we can hate what the soul doe's. I hate the sin of a man who would rape a child. But I would also pray for his spirit.
