This is not a question on racism.. its just something to think about... I for one am against illegal immigration... and I am an a hispanic... I believe what I believe and dont care what others have to say... its what I feel.

I can't say that I've ever met anyone that actually hated Mexicans. Are there some that exist in this country, I'm pretty sure. But I have no actual proof of that...and what does a person who hates Mexicans look like? Can you tell just by looking at a person that they hate Mexicans? Or do you look for proof?

I don't "hate" Mexicans or people of any race or nationality. I believe it is an outrage for people of the Hispanic (Latino) nationality to think laws are for other people and not them. I like food of many countries including Mexico. That has no rational bearing on the issue of illegal entry. Why is it you don't see illegal Asians, Italians, Irish, German, Bolivian, etc. out rioting, boycotting, flying their homeland flag in protest against the USA, demanding rights they don't have which the constitution set up for LEGAL citizens? You don't hear any hospitals complaining about all the German, Irish, Asian, immigrants causing the closing of hundreds of them. Laws should be enforced strongly against the ones causing all the turmoil. They act irrational and uncivilized.

No one hates Mexicans. I do not hate Mexicans and yes I love the food. What I do not want is for illegal aliens taking over my country, I do not care where they are from. If they did not get here legally then go home.

I am not racist, I love Mexican people. Heck, I married one. I don't like illegal immigration though. I think alot of people right now(on both sides) are really confused about the way they feel. They are confusing anger against illegals as anger against hispanics. After all, look at all the legal people out there supporting them and still claiming Mexico as their country. Latinos see themselves as unappreciated(to say the least), Americans of all colors see all these newslinks about Aztlan, Mecha, etc. They don't understand people who don't want to assimilate into American culture.They start getting mad, thinking that it must be all hispanics.And they are P.Oed at the massive amounts of resources American taxpayers have to provide for these people, only to be called a racist by them. People on both sides need to take the color out of the issue and focus on the problem itself.

Because just because you hate someone doesn't really have anything to do with food, that is dumb, think about it: "I hate that damned woman, but she bakes the best cookies". It is kind of something like that. You are not taking Mexican food away from the Mexicans because here, it is probably made by Americans.
