I have had hair loss problems for a few years. I have some bald patches and very very think hair and my self esteem is very low. I have been debating getting it shaved for ages. Yes I've seen specialists and been on medication to help my hair but NOTHING has helped and it's costing too much and Im fed up with it. I have a medication condition which will not change which is probably why my hair is falling out. I have decided to get it shaved but I need to know where can I get trendy attractive scarves and how do I tie them on. I live in Sydney and have NO idea where a young person gets head scarves from. (no I am not getting a wig, can't afford and don't want anyway). I would really like answers from girls who have been through this experience or know someone who has. I also need to fix up my eyebrows which are a mess because they will be more obvious with no hair. Does eye brown waxing hurt? Im not very brave!. Thanks so much.

If i were you i would go to Ebay - lots of people sell them in bunches and for cheap - i wear a lot of scarfs in my hair and as belts - ebay you can find all kinds of styles and colors - and again they are going to be cheap = best of all you can do it from the comfort of your couch!! Your eyebrows i would keep them neatly waxed - don't wax them all off - and it hurts for just a second and that's it - just like ripping off a band aid - i always lay the scarf on the crown of my head and tie them in a bow or knot on the back of my neck - or off to the side a little so the rest of it can lay over my shoulders in the front - doing that with some cute dangle earrings and a tank top - jeans/shorts and flip flops would be soo cute!! Good Luck !!!! Wish you the best !!

Hello, I shaved my head twice! I'm 45 and have said recently if I start going bald (hair thinning) I'm going to shave it again.
I joked and said I was going to get a bulls-eye tattooed on it!
Anyway, everythings IN now a days - And who cares if it isn't!
I've always thought bald is beautiful - since I was young!
I had left the bangs when I did it - But who's to say next time!
Keep It shinning and smooth - If you are feminine your attitude will show with or without hair!
Earrings would like nice too!
Cheers to You!

Eyebrow waxing doesn't hurt much more than waxing your legs, and it's over a lot quicker! Just don't get it done when you've got your period as some people are more sensitive to pain at that time.

Walmart, K-mart, Lord & Taylor, Sears, J.C. Penney's, wherever ladies clothing is sold.

You can also buy nice, inexpensive wigs. Look in the Yellow Page of your local telephone directory.

all waxing hurts. you can just buy regualr scarves and use a saftey pin. it it probably won't stay on very well. because you dont have any hair. i suggest you dont shave your head and buy a scarf. that way it'll stay on. and who knows mabye your hair problem is just a fase.
