LOL : Guess Who ??

There is a chance that astral projection is akin to "Lucid Dreaming"......like...where you are "awake" in your dreams and can mindfully control much of what happens. As with AP everything seems super-real.....and you can do all sorts of things like flying all arond the world, meeting whoever you want, causing situations to develop, etc.

But the difference between this and AP ( some would say the only difference) is that you are mindfully aware that you are opperating within your dream state.

The few actual clinical tests of people who feel they can "project" ( ie "Take yourself into the next room, and tell me the things that you see in there" ) have not turned out to be successful, even though the subjects actally felt that they went into the next room and saw things.

Believe me, Lucid Dreaming is *way* trippy enough in itself, and can have real psychological benifits when it comes to confronting your fears in a safe setting, and bringing some real resolution to them.
