if you look at the history of religions, they all believe in the same God. The controversy really lies with Jesus. Many Immams acknowledge Jesus Christ as a prophet of God, as well as Abraham. So do Jews. The only difference is Christians believe Jesus was the human personification of God - the Messiah. Jews are still waiting for the Messiah and Muslims don't believe there is one.
I don't think the problem is "who's God is better" because most should know they all believe in the same God ultimately. The problem lies with "who is working for God and who is not". Extreme Muslims argue that Islam is the only true faith so opposing faiths are against God - evil
but this is a very generalised explaination...

They can't. Basically, a religion is chosen and practiced based on faith and not real evidence. There is no proof of whether there is a god or not and if the god is the correct one or if there is more than one god. No one knows what their god looks like; it's just an artist's interpretation. Besides, the Christian, Muslim, and Jewish God is basically the same, except with different beliefs surrounding the teachings of the god and what he did.

They all share the same God (the God of Abraham)
Abraham was an old man and had no children.. An Angel appeared to Abraham and told him because he was faithful to God. God would make him the Father of many nations. Old Abe laughed and said it can't be, I'm old and my wife is unable to bare child.....Well back in those days if the wife wasn't feeling frisky the husband would bed with a servant girl.. Guess what the servant girl got pregnant and not to much later Abe's wife did too ! Now back in those days The first born was the heir. And the servants son (Ishmael)was born first but he was a child of demeant which means his mother was not married,,A short time later Issac was born the Abe's wife,,she giot jealous of the servants child and cast them away form there tents to wander in the desert.. Now it is said that Issac is the beginning of the Hebrew nation And Ishmeal is the beginning of the Arabic nation..
Islam claims that Ishmeal was first born of the seed of his father (so they are the favorite children of God...The Hebrew's say that Issac was the First born so they are the favored son's.
And Christianity of course was (started) by Christ and Christ was born in the Hebrew house....Now the Quran states that Jews are going to he'll because they are liars and thief's and christians are going to hade's because they worship idols (and if yoy think about it the Roman catholic church does) In turn the Christians say the Muslims are a bunch of rag head idiots and te Quran is a book of the devil and the jews say that muslims are blah blah blah.
It is all very very hard to understand, but yet it is simple,,mostly it all files down to childish self centered issues and in the end. God may find all of us unworthy..Another thing i would like to point out is Jesus Never said he was the Son of God...He taught we are ALL the Sons and Daughters of God the Father...

Puppy Zwolle is right. It's the same. Jews and Muslims believe in the same God. Only Christianity is different, as it states that Jesus is a part of God. So the God of Muslims and Jews is according to X-tianity, "the Father"(this concept is strongly rejected by Islam and Judaism). All of them are classified under the term "the Abrahamaic Faith".

Muslims say it is the same one, but clearly it is not. They insist to use Allah, an Arabic word fro God, because that is what the Koran was written in. They use it to define a distinct separate entity. Consciously or subconsciously, just watch the way the use their words. Capitalization, etc..
Christian God and Judaism God is the same "Father", the difference being they dont deny Jesus existed, they just dont think he was the son of God.

They are the same God. Arabic translations of the Bible even use Allah where English translations use God.
And for your information:
"Those who believe (in the Qur'an), and those who follow the Jewish (scriptures), and the Christians and the Sabians,- any who believe in Allah and the Last Day, and work righteousness, shall have their reward with their Lord; on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve." (Qur'an 2:62)
Also, Christians and Muslims have a nearly identical view on the "Last Day." The Jewish perspective is also very similar.

Actually, Christians, Muslims and Jews do worship the same God, the God of Abraham-Yahweh, Allah. Buddhism and Hinduism have their own thing going on.

they all worship the same god ....differently. if anyone believes that their god is greater they are wrong. the only issue starts when spirituality becomes religion and it begins to divide. the crusades (Christians and Muslims),the ku klux klan (who used to bomb churches in the name of god), some militias(timothy McVeigh was a hard nosed christian), and these Muslim extremists( who will kill anyone in the name of the jihad) these people distort the true meaning of the origins of their religion and divide us. even though some of the religious doctrine is not in the original text (the bible) we are the one who separate not the text we read. when we get it right there will peace.

puppy has it /mostly/ right, 'cept jews and muslims do not accept the christian belief that jesus was the son of G*d borne of some metaphysical cloning process. Jewish G*d, Christian G*d (the Father, anyway), and Muslim G*d - they are all the same character.
think of it as a trilogy. kind of like lord of the rings, only not.

it is all the same socalled God ,Jehova or Allah whatever the Anunaki was called by his brainwashed followers .
he was known as the creater ,because he created a slave race ,to mine gold for him.he may have been power full and clever ,but this did nor make him a god except in the minds of his slaves and their descendents
they betrayed and turned their backs on the real Gods.
