He's always listening, sweetheart! You might not be able to feel God in your life right now, but he's there, because you have asked him to be with your prayers. God hears all sincere prayers that are in line with his will, and has your best interests at heart. I am so very sorry for your pain, whatever is causing it! I know when I am in need of a shoulder and comfort from God, I read in Psalms. You might try Psalm 4, 23, 25, 27, 34... all of these may bring you some relief from your feelings. Good luck, and you can get in touch via my 360 page if you need to 'talk'.

Maybe because you still see him as God. I'm glad you read the Bible. It's a great start.
Maybe you should change your point of view. Perhaps calling him "Father" would help you to think of Him as your best friend. Because he is the truest one of all of your friends. Speak to Him you would your best humanly friend. Just be like "Hey God! I'm glad for the life you gave me, but I've been having some problems. Could you help me out? I'm sad and angry because..." And you know He'll answer your prayers. He always does.

I'm kind of in a situation like you. I've been depressed and angry and confused all at the same time and I'm going crazy. But I have my faith, and I know that it'll al l end and He'll never refuse a prayer. Keep faith. He loves you and listens to you.

Remember that challenges are a gift from God and we are to gratefully accept the good with the bad.

Dear Friend,
Two month ago I had a terrible car accident when I was out of the country visiting my sick mom. And I had the same question that you have now when I was on the airplane knowing that It may had been the last time I saw my mother. After the accident ...I felt so sad because my kids were sad for me and I didn't know if I would see them again. When I came back to California I discovered that Good was comforting me all the time but I was so sad that I didn't noticed his cheers! Smile he is there in the air that you are breathing ... in the sounds that you hear...all this is there for you trying to con fort you.

Many Christians have the misconception that when you talk to God you have to be formal about it in everyway and talk in big words etc. Talk to God as if you were talking to your best friend. Tell Him everything that is bothering you from A to Z. He wants us to come to Him when we are feeling troubled about something or someone in our lives. He is always listening to us, and He understands exactly what we are going thru. Have faith and trust in Him and tell Him that. Many Christians tell God that they want an answer to their prayers right now! But God doesn't work out that way. His timing and our timing are not the same just like our wants isn't the same as His.

What you did last night is exactly what you should do with him. He invites everyone to come to Him and unburden themselves to Him. Have faith and trust in Him that He will help you out. Don't fret, just wait upon the Lord and He will help you.

Feeling sad and angry as well as other emotions are normal to have. You are human!! Continue to share your feelings and emotions and everything to God. And in time, something wonderful will happen in your life...you'll see.

For added comfort you may want to ask the Holy Spirit to dwell inside you and read other Christian Literature or Christian Books as well as the Bible. Here are a few wonderful authors that I enjoy reading that have helped me over the years: Billy Graham; Max Lucado; Ann Graham Bell; Patsy Clairmont (God Uses Cracked Pots is excellent!) Charles Swindoll; Charles Stanley. May you find peace in your mind and in your heart soon! God Bless you!

Don't be sad, and don't "wait" on God to bring you comfort. Remember, you are in a program that requires you to grow, mature and excel. It's not always easy but it is always fair. Even when we have no clue what-so-ever, "what in the world is going on", God is merciful and vigilant to our needs. Learn to collect your self and try to view your life from an outside perspective when it gets hard. Become an observer of your life experience, rather than just the victim or victor. Thank God for every challenge (especially when you don't feel it). Trust, trust, trust, and move on.

It sounds like you are having a 'dark night of the soul'. When we despair, it feels like we are separate from God. God is all there is and therefore we are always part of God. We can never be separate from God. You seem to be experiencing the illusion of separation from the Divine, but remember your soul is your direct connection with God. Sometimes when we ask for help, we feel fear and listen to it, but if we really listen to our soul, the true inner voice, we can hear God's comfort. This is a process, so I encourage you to keep trying. You are certainly supported by healing, love, and light of the Divine. You are in my healing thoughts and prayers. God bless.

this is another one of those free will things well of course he is listening i think it is a spiritual comfort you need that is the real closeest thing to him get right with your soul then you'll be ok find the reason why you r so sad and angry? first off sadness and anger is a thing of the devil he is tempting your mind with the illusion of doubt and anger and the feeling of being weak continue to hold on to the lord and go ahead and cry it releases those feelings

God is certainly listening. He hears us through Jesus Christ. Place your faith in Jesus Christ and He will carry your prayers to God the Father. Don't be further upset if you don't see an immediate response to your prayer. You might want to ask yourself how your prayers bring glory to God - answering this might help you to see His response to your prayer.
