I'm making Royal Icing. I don't have meringue powder, and I need a substitute, but I only need 3 tblspoons. Help me please!

In spanish we call it Merenegue.... whip eggs whites with sugar.

egg whites,whipped with a little confectionery sugar. i have done this royal icing and never heard of meringue powder.check the web

When you whip the egg whites, add sugar till you reach the prefered taste, and also a small touch of vanilla! Yummy! :)
