It is a type of antibacterial, strong and used commonly with resistant type of bacterial infection and some fungal also.
It will not cause any side effect unless you are having allergies to it, if the physician advised it for you then you better take it, other wise you are just making Bactria stronger in your body to resist it when you may need to take it.

That was pretty stupid.
Cipro is an antibiotic. I hope you're not allergic to it. If you feel like your throat is closing up, get to the ER immediately. Could be life threatening.

Ciprofloxacin is a drug used to treat severe to moderate urinary tract infections, severe bone and joint infections, severe resp. tract infections, sinusitis.It has a bactericidal action.Just watch out for any adverse reactions or side effects..side effects may include nausea, vomiting, and dizziness..but taking only one drug may not be very hazardous to you unless yout ook it in multiple doses or you are allergic to this drug..just don't self-medicate next time,ok? it is diferent from Lortab which is an acetominaphen because this drug is an analgesic just lke tylenol..this is used to treat pain..
