Being Native American, I can assure you that it's not just Muslims and Aftro Americans who have been stepped on.
I treat people the way they treat me. I know some Muslims and they have been great friends of mine. It really is sad that so many people remain ignorent and judge many by the actions of a few.
God bless you and your family.

Maybe that's because most people are so busy in their day-to-day lives that they barely have time to study up on their own faiths teachings, never mind some other faith.
What's more, I might decide to sit down and read the Koran but, as a Catholic, how the heck do I know if I am interpreting it properly?
And it's not a civil rights issue. Every remotely decent person knows that all people are created equal. Everyone of sound moral fiber knows this.
But this is not about race, this is about religion. And the fact is NOT all faiths are created equal, Indeed, some are better than others.
I have no problem with Muslism who understand and practice Islam properly. I have no beef with those people whatsoever.
The overtly negative anti-Islamic vibe comies from that fact that, while not all terrorists are Muslim, the one's attacking American interests are all Muslim.

I studied enough Islam to know that it is all an invention by Muhammad to keep you occupied. It is you who are not smart enough to get out of this false religion. Now you call us sickos and stupid and it makes me want to defend myself.
1. Your pedofile prophet is the number 1 big time joke.
2. Your contradictory Koran is the second, you muslims are totally divided as to whether be terrorists or peaceful and both camps call the other non muslims.
3. The terrible way you treat women.
4. The polygamy laws in the Koran.
What more do you want no true God ever wrote a book like that beginning with the prophet that couldn't even read or write. You call that a miracle, we call that ignorance.
Remember you wrote the question...And I didn't refuse to study, I studied and found out about you.

Actually I am the opposite of what you describe.
I defended muslims, saying that it was religion based on peace, that there was no bad instructions telling them to do evil things in the quran.
I bet you could find responses of mine just a month or more ago defending the quran, but I hadn't actually read it then.
Now I have actually read the quran, and was absolutely horrified; i never expected to find the stuff I did. As an unbeliever I am very worried by its contents.
I still like muslims, that hasn't changed because most (where i live) don't follow the bad teachings. (But that sort of blows the inspired word of god bit out of the water)

Why would anyone want to study Islam? We see what muslims are doing and thats all we need to know. The founder of Islam, the Prophet Muhammad was a pedophile and a warlord. He led armies that killed thousands and he married a 6 year old girl when he was an old man. He was an evil man, yet millions of blind sheep continue to "worship" him like he is Allah himself. They worship him and ignore completely their other prophets, especially Jesus. Islam is full of contradictions, lies, and deceipt, and muslims killed millions of Chinese when they overtook Indonesia. Muslims went on a rioting rampage because of a few cartoon drawings of a "man", not Allah. Yes, Muhammad was a MAN, not a god.
I say the ignorance is people like you that never question your religious leaders as you and them support men like Osama Bin Laden. The world saw the cheers and celebration of millions of muslims moments after 9/11, and we see you as frauds and hypocrites. So called moderate muslims support the extremists, and how often do you hear anyone in the muslim community speak out against terrorism? Very rarely, if ever.
Islam is evil, thats why people REFUSE to learn or study it.

Truth is subjective, just because YOU believe what it says doesn't mean anyone else will. I've read it and still don't believe it. There also appears to be other Muslims that interpret it differently that YOU do because they do use it to justify violence. Talk to them as well. And before you say they aren't real Muslims they say people like you aren't either. Which are we to believe?

I learned that islam teaches that Jesus is not the Son of God. I also learned that the Bible says, in 1 John 2:22, that islams teachings prove that they are anti-Christ, and that allah can not be God.
This I believe; http://homelessheart.com/testimony.htm

Hey, if you went to Germany, you would be expected to learn German.
The same with any other country.. You are expected to learn THE COUNTRIES language and coustoms. IT IS NOT THE OTHER WAY AROUND. Islam is a strange coustom.. Who ever heard of a Christian that wanted to blow himself up ??? If they are so peace loving people, why do they go around trying to inflect death and injuries on people ???

It's going to be pretty hard for you to convince people that muslims aren't a bunch of vicious murderers when they proudly publicize videos of themselves sawing their helpless prisoners' heads off with a knife.
