I would say so, but you have four problems with that. One, people that don't care how much of a population overflow we have that want to do what they want and nothing else. Two, then you also have people that are too stupid to understand the problem. Three, you have people in third world countries that have no means of contraception. Lastly four, you have the religious nuts that think it is God's will for us to have so many children.

Then there's those religions that teach you shouldn't use birth control so poor families keep getting bigger and bigger and poorer and poorer! Some churches even switch back and forth: "Yes, you can use BC" then "Wait, no you can't!". Although, will all this said I don't think the earth will ever become overpopulated. Don't stress it will never happen!
