People that believe in the Universe as an energy source of which we are part of equal, believe we are gods. Is this correct? So is the Universe 'the head' or 'bigger' or 'the god'

A panentheist (which Christians, Muslims, and Jews usually are) would say there is a difference.

Myself, I'd do so by pointing out that the universe is finite - it is limited in size, space, and time. It had a beginning, about 13.8 billion years ago, prior to which even time did not exist. It will have an ending, in a trillion trillion years, when the universe suffers heat death.

A panentheistic philosophy generally holds that God is entirely present TO the creation - but is not himself that creation. To use a crude example, consider the artist. The artist is aware of every single brush stroke, and so invested in them, that he literally considers himself to be in every brush stroke. Yet the artist does not mistake himself for the painting.

Personally, I think of the universe as planets, stars, and stuff. I've seen on TV shows people that say "Ask the universe for what you need." I'd feel silly doing that. How can Mars help me? So, I think of God differently.

Sorry that the first guy didn't answer what you asked. The universe is a the handiwork of God. God is a being, a supreme being, the Creator. He made the universe and everything that dwells in it. We are not gods- He is God and He made us and all of it.
