My boyfriend won't be my date at any of my family functions or any of my friends. I always go with him if he needs a date to anything. I know all his family and friends and he knows none of mine. I try to talk to him about it but he just tries to change the subject. It's not like he's a loser or anything. Why do you think ?

Men have a real fear of meeting the girls friends and family. Its a whole other level of commitment that some of them just can not handle.

You need a complete boyfriend, not a part time one. No matter how shy a guy is, that's no excuse for letting her down, every time she needs him.
He should want to be with you, anytime and anywhere. Seems he 's just using you, and not returning what you do for him.
It's all a one way street. Get someone, who will be there for you, this guy is a loser. big time.
