this is very scary to me. i'm 13 years old and i'm being faced with the desision to have sex or not. i always thought it would come in the later teen years but i guess not. but i really really REALLY like the guy but i'm not sure if i'm ready. yet i sort of want to. my best friend tells me to listen to my heart but its telling me that i'm not ready as well as i really want to. what's your opinion?

13 is way too young. You obviously know you are not ready even if you want to. You need to wait until your head and your heart say definitely yes, preferably when you are above the age of consent. Having sex now, I think you will regret it later in life. At 13, your emotions get all muddled up and you may fall in lust very easily. Can be confused with love.

No you shoudl wait. Just because you like someone like you say you do is not a reason to have sex. Most guys will say or do anything to get what htey want and then afterwards you will feel guilty and regret it. It's best to wait till you're married

Don't do it. Please. 13 is way too young. Something bad could happen, you could get pregnant, get STD's, or family disproval. If your heart is telling you you're not ready, then guess what? LISTEN TO YOUR HEART! It has the right idea.

at yr age you should still be thinking about education. guys come second and if he is pushing the sex issue when yr only 13 he is a jerk. dont mess yr life up. plenty time for sex later.

please,dont do it. im 13 and i can understand how u feel about kinda wanting to do it, but really dont. Think about it, you have all your life to do stuff like that and if you now you will probably regret it. dont just do it because of peer pressure either. its your life. listen to your heart. if the guy really likes you, he will understand.

if you so happened to accidentally get pregnant would you be okay quiting school and taking care of a baby? most likely not enjoy you life at 13 and don't try to grow up to soon. you cant go back and be a kid. stay one as long as possible.

don't do it I am 16 and am still a vergin don't throw it away on some guy who wont remember your name forever your first time should be very special and if you aren't 100% sure you are ready for this then it can't be that. you deserve better don't settel for less

if you do, when you guys break up you'll be known as a slut or worse get pregnaunt or get an std. and if you say your not going to break up well then you have the rest of your life to wait. slow down.
