lust is a natural human feeling. however, it is condemned if you cross the boundaries of thoughts and enter into actions thats when trouble arises. there is danger in everything one does. you, me and the bible is not the one which decides what is right and what is wrong. you cannot limit the choices of a person for what you believe. maybe you might impose it on your family as long as they are dependant on you.. but once they are free and legal adults...they flout your rules, which is common, so its better to just leave things as they are... if u dont want to wear bikinis you might very well stop it. you dont have the right to ask others not to wear it.

He's asking an honest question, why do some people need to be so mean? Let's cut each other some slack.
First of all, it's a natural reaction to be attracted to a girl in a swimsuit. It's not neccessarily wrong to lust, it is what you do with that reaction. For instance, if you attack some girl and can't control yourself, that's wrong.
Don't let conservative Christian teaching fill you with guilt about what is normal and natural.

and so women are responsible for men being unable to keep themselves in check?...also lust is a natural thing....why is sexual desire wrong? As a Christian are you saying it is wrong, as a man, to have desire for a woman? It's a biological reality....Desire or lust is one of the most natural things in the world...it becomes wrong when a man tries to forcibly make a woman have sex with him - that is a choice, and that is the part that is "wrong."
What is also wrong is that you think women should not dress a certain way because of the reaction in your "loins."

Girls want to look cute, get a good tan that covers their body and duh, girls want guys to lust after them. Every girl that has a good looking body is going to show it off. Not everyone cares what religious implications it may have. My best friend wears a bikini and she is a die hard christian and stayed a virgin until she was married, so really it isn't wrong, it is just a different point of view.

God allowed all the sins to exist. He knew that only a few men would follow his way and engage in divine worship. Lust is a sin that nowadays isnt counted as a sin, cause its made in a regular basis. So, concluding, nobodys perfect

I honestly don't know. I've herad arguments on both sides.
I don't feel bad about wearing a bikini in of itself, but if I feel like it is a problem for people around me, then I don't have to wear one. It isn't that big a deal for me not to.
Read Romans Ch.14.

As you can see they justify tempting men because it seems to get them something they want. Just like we justify sinning.
My four daughters get it, by the way, and wear modest bathing suits (one piece that covers them up).
It is hard to find modest clothes these days, the stores don't offer them. The girls don't want to look out of place or odd, but they want to be modest. Some girls compromise their standards and wear provocative clothes because of peer pressure. Or a sense of competition.

How is the girl's bathing suit responsible for your lack of control? Take some personal responsibility for your behavior for God's sake.
Hey, I have an idea...why don't you become a Muslim and then you can cover your woman from head to toe instead of controlling yourself!!!
