No. I had the depo shot and I didn't have a period for 6 months. It has different affects on people. i also could not concieve for 6 months even after my peroids started back...but may or may not have been from the shot. i reccommend not getting it again. it really messed with my emotions and I didn't like how long it worked.

No, just because you have gotten the depo before does not mean that your body will respond to it the same. I do not believe that you are pregnant, you simply need to wait until your period comes down, it took me about five months after my first shot... So, have patience...

Yup, Depo stays in your system for a while, but it takes a few doses before you don't have a period anymore.
Take a home pregnancy test & get to the doctor soon either way.

Actually, funny you should ask that. I did get pregnant while I was still on the shot. So just be cautious. But on the other had it dose stay in you system for a long time after you quit. And it messes with your cycle also. So I guess anything is possible.

I was on depo for only 1 year , i have been off of it for 1 year now and still havent gotten pregnant (and we have been tryin)
I didnt get my period back until feb of this year

thats normal some people get there period for a month or not get it at all. If your still worried take a pregnancy test
