I was told that I look like an idiot because of my hair today. ( they weren't trying to be rude, just honest ) But I haven't known any idiots that have blue hair, or hair like mine. How many idiots do you know with blue hair?
If I had hair that looked like einstein's, people might say that too. But in all reality, I would look like a genius. So to me, people who have blue hair look like atleast a fairly intelligent person.

I think that your right that that guy was trying just to be honest not rude to you. Maybe he thinks you really are a smart person and the hair makes you look like a gang member or wannabe gang member. If you were trying to get a job or something maybe he thought you had potential because you spoke well but thought your looking like gang member (which he calls idiots) would scare off the customers.

I actually think that the color is unique and makes you more of an individual (not an idiot!)....but I would prefer purple! (My favorite color!)
