Well, I think I am falling in love with someone who lives far away. We were classmates in high school and just recently ran into each other again. He is as fun as always and we talk every day. He lives in England, though.
I don't know if I should go for it or drop it. I think we'd be great together, and we already know each other pretty well.
I think we both feel the same way, but are waiting for the other one to say it first. Getting different perspectives would help a lot. Thanks.

I feel this could really work. I am willing to move if it does have a future.
I do know his past. We know each other since we were little kids, just lost contact for a few years after high school.
Share the same background.

go for it, you only live once and you don't want to always look back and wonder "what if"...if it doesn't work out, at least you had one hell of a time and experience to help shape your life

I dated a guy from england once, and my best friend is doing the same thing right now. I think it could work out for you and him. Of course it will get tough but with technology today you can talk 24/7 if you wanted to without it becoming a money factor. I say go for it. It could be well worth it, and if not anything else, maybe you'll just get a nice trip to England!

Communication is the key. You need to tell him how you feel. Go for it from there, before you decide to jump into something. Only you and him know best, so you should ask him. Good luck :)

(I live in the UK) He wanted me to go back with him, I didn`t, I am now with a very lovely man who lived 6 hours away from me.... so that`s long distance for me, Please go for it .... You`ll regret not trying if you don`t, you can always go back home and say that you tried.. Good luck

Just keep it casual. If one of you were willing to relocate then you have to make that decision regardless of whether you would be together or not. Just in case it doesn't work out.

the thing you need to be thinking about is where is it going?? are either one of you going to make that move so that you may start your life together? if not, then it is time to call it just good friends and move on with life.

Drink a large amount of coffee so you can wake up to the fact that it isn't going to work.
You know that and he/she knows that as well.

LONG DISTANCE RELATIONSHIPS ARE TRICKY, EVEN FOR COUPLES THAT HAVE BEEN TOGETHER FOR AWHILE. NEW RELATIONSHIPS NEED TIME TO MATURE AND BLOSSOM. TRY TO SPEND AS MUCH TIME TOGETHER AS POSSIBLE WHILE HE'S CLOSE, THEN TRY WRITING AND CALLING. TIME WILL REVEAL IF IT IS LOVE.
