i know not all guys are jerks but i want to know why so many are

maybe you just don't understand them. Men and women think differently. They may seem like jerks, because we do not understand them.

Because so many women stereotype us as such. If you women as a whole would think of us as the loving understanding people that we are, then less of us would be jerks. it all starts with thought energy. If you'll tell ten friends and they'll tell ten friends, and so on....... Eventually almost all guys will not be jerks. Call your girlfriends, i can't wait to see the results......

Because maybe they werent raised well or in past relationships, the girl lets him treat her bad and he knows....he thinks he can get away with it. If a guy is a jerk 4 get about him, it will hurt you more in the long run if you try to patch things up, youll find the right one for you, and when you find him youll know because you wont want to change a thing about him..

To look cool in front of their friends. You know, no matter how much of a jerk you think they are, they truly arent. Every single guy has a sensitive n sweet guy in them. Believe me i know. Try to talk to a guy, ALONE, none of his friends around. You'll see how different he acts. Its weird but its true. Absolutely every single guy. Some guys show their sensitive side and some don't. Its just like that.

What usually happens, is in the beginning the guy will be perfect for you because he is in lust. he will tell you everything you want to hear. once that happens and he sees that you are falling for him, then you will really see who he is. that all comes in effect when its longer into the relationship and he thinks you won't break up with him because you love him and will do anything to keep the relationship working. that's what I've come to learn... also guys are jerks cause they only think with one thing, usually. i think we all know what that is.

Same reason a lot of girls are jerks. Egotistic, self centered, social misfits and generally a pain in the a**.

because we use our brain more ;)
A lot are, but once they mature (if they ever do) the jerks may become less of a jerk and turn into a human hopefully.

Because its their nature with out being to sweet so they be jerks but Some can't help it!They want to show off and make it harder for you and others! so they don't make you think they're being way sweet on u!
