I’m 23, 5’1, 160 pounds, and work at a desk job that is call center like, so I can’t get up to move that often. I have a full figure and I don’t eat that badly. It’s still an hourglass, but large, although I am a little thick in the stomach area, which worries me. I really think it’s a slow metabolism. I eat 3 meals a day. I do not eat fast food or junk food that often. I enver drink soda. I prefer water. If anything, I will have a heavy lunch, but a light dinner. When I’m not at work, I’m usually feeling run down b/c of my lack of activity. I get about 7 hours of sleep each night.

I also started taking birth control pills and am wondering if this will harp on my weight loss efforts.

Any help, such as tips or a plan will definitely be appreciated. I NEED to lose weight and am worried about my health. I want to develop healthy habits now, so that it’s second nature. I would like detailed advise based on my information. Thanks in advance!

I'd experienced a similar situation similar to what you are describing myself. The only thing that you can do out side of continuing to eat healthy the way you have been is to exercise after work 30-60 minutes 5 days a wk at least.I lost 42 lbs in 3.5 months that way! But I had to continue it and also spread out my 3 healthy meals a day into 6 "smaller" healthy meals spaced out 3-4hrs to boost the metabolism, 100 oz or more of plain water or crystal light is OK every day to flush out the toxins built up during the weight loss process. Bring a resistance band or wrist/ankle weights with you to use at work to build up muscle which will boost fat burning "quietly" hence the nature of your job, do at least 3 sets 20 reps each per day. The resistance band can even work your abdominal area if you place it behind your back grab an end in each hand and pull forward and release slowly with a steady motion keeping resistance as long as possible. You are feeling run down because of your lack of activity so you should get moving to increase your energy level and you will also burn some fat even at rest or sleeping! Even if you build only a little more muscle in your body than what you already have. Good luck and stay healthy!

Preferably drink 10-12 glasses of water and please consult your doctor to change your birth control pills to one with low hormones count [ if ur birth control pills have high hormone count then it definitely leads to weight gain and kinda face swell] .

Every morning beging with one spoon of honey with lemon juice mixed in warm water , a glassful of it and no eating or drinking for next one hour .

Another thing u can do is to cut down on ur carb diet for example switiching more to salads and fruits rather than bread [ avoid white bread at all costs] use only brown bread .

And start with some light cardio exercises like jogging or walking , u may start losing around 1-2 pound a week and normally its not recomended to lose more than 6 kgs a month .

And dont take those pills those fat burners they simply harm ur liver so badly ultimately slowing it down .

just get more exercise. walk at least a mile three times a week. take the stairs instead of the elevator, park a block away from work. walk around the building during lunch. take a walk after dinner every night. all these things will add up to weight loss over time.

i just think exercise is what is missing from your lifestyle, because even when you eat right you have to do some physical activity to shed the fat. i advise scheduling at least 40 mins 3 or 4 times a week for exercise. you'll see the difference
