I am about 7 years younger than my coworker. I have had a huge crush on him however i know the reason why he doesn't want to get invovled with me is because im a little big younger than him (hes in his 20s). Most people think i'm older though because i act it and look it, so it makes me kind of mad knowing that he doesn't want to get invovled w/ me b/c of a dumb number! I know that he feels attracted towards me (because of the comments he makes) and we hang out sometimes and go play tennis, but he wont make advances on me b/c of my age! HELP!!!

Nowadays, with all the sexual harassment issues at the workplace, people are extremely careful when getting involved like this. Maybe you should ask him to meet you in a place outside the work environment and openly discuss the issue. Some guys, like me are shy and will wait to get a very clear "hint" to make the move.

First of all are you SURE that the reason is because of your age, and not because he just thinks of you as a 'friend', and prefers to keep it that way? If you are over the age of 18, and there are no 'jail-bait' issues, then I would lean toward the possibility that he only thinks of you as a friend, and does not wish to change the relationship (or kill it, as romances often do, when they eventually end...) If you truly wish this friendship to take a 'romantic' path, and you're line is cast, but he just isn't 'taking the bait' you may have to either come right out and say what is on your mind to him...bluntly, or be more aggressive and make some physical moves on him. If you choose the latter, I would be VERY careful about WHERE you do that. In otherwords, don't do it in your workplace, as this can put your job in jeopardy!

If you're under 18 he could be arrested for statutory rape if he messes with you--so that's a good reason for him not to.
It's never a good idea to go out with a coworker, anyway. It's like mixing business with pleasure--hardly ever works.
