Is there limited space in "Heaven"? Is it due to competition with the devil? That can't be so, God is omnipotent, right? The universal authority?? Why would He allow what He supposedly created to cause pain? And if you claim God gave Satan equal power, then there should be a lot more Satanists. Like half the population! They would each only be able to control 50% of the world each if thats the case. Just wondering.

Is there a God???? Is there a Devil?????
It`s what the ivdividual person thinks and feels, If you want to believe in God and the Devil then do so, but keep everything on an even balance, It`s only people that are good or evil the so called God and Satan exist in peoples minds.

As to why God allows a choice between Him and Satan - the best response I got from a minister was something like "God already knows what rocks are going to do - nothing, unless He moves them. Only sentient beings with some measure of free will, able to make a choice over good and evil themselves, and make their own mistakes, will be worthy "children" capable of taking instructions and learning from mistakes. "

And who says God gave Satan equal power? The way I read the Bible, God made the angels (and people) in his image, but not as beings of equal power.

The key to God's plan of happiness for His children is agency, or the ability to choose between good and evil. He sent us here to earth in order to try us, to test us to see if we would follow Him despite the loud temptations of Satan. If we pass this test here by remaining faithful to God, we will be able to return to His presence in heaven. There is no limited space there.

God is indeed the universal authority but He allows Satan to cause pain and havoc here on the Earth for a limited time because without the opposition inherent in Satan's temptations, we could not progress or even fulfill our purpose here on Earth. Satan has a great deal of power, but God did not give it to him. He allows Satan to have that power because it is necessary, but it will not last forever. Eventually God will triumph, Satan will be cast out and stripped of all power (destroyed, perhaps) and there will be happiness. Hope this helps answer your question!

God gives us free will to choose between good and evil. He didn't want to create mindless zombies. He hates sin, and will not allow it into heaven, and wants in his presence forever the people who choose His forgiveness and strive to live a sinless life. I don't know where you got the idea that He gave Satan equal power. Demons flee in God's name! Satan has the power to *lie* to you, to convince you that it isn't so bad to do what's wrong, that "everybody does it". Satan can seem to *give* you power, but the more you accept from him, the more you allow him to chain you up. You can fight that power in Jesus' name! Pain on earth is such a short, temporary thing compared to eternity. This is the dress rehearsal, the time to choose.

If you read Romans 14, you'll see that God asserts that it's not easy to follow the path laid before you, and it is not for the righteous to judge the non-righteous.
Satan is not as powerful as God. Satan is a Seraph, one of the most powerful of angels, and led 1/3 of the angels out of heaven, but God is supreme.

After Adam and Eve sinned, humans became imperfect. Satan questioned God's sovereignty, and Adam & Eve chose to disobey God. Adam & Eve decided that they can govern themselves, that they don't need God as their ruler. God allowed them to rebel, and he let Satan rule mankind.

1 John 5:19 "We know we originate with God, but the whole world is lying in the [power of the] wicked one."

God wanted humans to realize that they can't rule themselves. Can you think of how many types of governments there is on earth? Democracy, dictatorship, communism, etc. All have failed! They may seem like they're working out, but they're really not. God is giving humans time to realize that they cannot govern themselves.

It's our choice to pick whose side we're on. Satan, or God.

God has given you the choice. You can choose to worship and follow Him or you can do as you please when you please. If you choose to live your live the way God would want you to you will go to The Promised Land but, if you disobey him and live and ungodly manor you will spend eternity in Hell. Think of eternity as this You are a bird and you fly back and forth from way out in space to Earth over and over again carrying one grain of sand each time after you have taken the Earth apart grain by grain that is just the beginning of eternity.

You have free will and you are free to make choices because Adam and Eve got kicked out of the garden of eden. Had the fools stayed, then they would have lived a sheltered life where where they would not have to make any difficult choices except for the one about the apple.

That's not a question that you ask if you are a true believer because that is tempting god a.k.a. blasphemy. but god made us in his image, which gave us free will like him. and satan is a fallen angel who believed that humans were inferior to angels, so god banished him and he set about to tempt humans etc, etc. If you really want a good answer you need to read the bible sorry.

God gave us free will, if he didn't, we would not have a life at all and be puppets waiting for someone to move our strings..

Life is what WE make of it, if you feel sorrow ask God into your life. He is our Father but he is also polite, meaning He won't mingle in our life unless we ask him to, but He is always there to ask.
God Bless
