If we get rid on Mexican works your going to see a whole lot of price increases. I'm sorry but I have had two houses built and Mexican workers are the best hands down. They work their butts off and do an excellent job. In Texas they estimate that 80% of homes are being built by illegal immigrants. If you took that 80% away no one could afford to by a house.
Don't give me this crap that American's would do these jobs because they wont. The ones that do will half *** it. Americans expect lots of money for little to no work.

People can say what they want were not gonna stop immigrants from coming into this country. Unless you are an American Indian, someone in your family linage(history) also migrated to this country. What right makes those immigrants more able to come to this country than immigrants today. Is it fear of terrorism? well i don't believe that the terrorist of 9/11 came into this country threw the southern boarder. Are immigrants taking our jobs.... not mine, I have never lost a job to an illegal immigrant. They allow this country to sustain prices in homes vegetables etc Maybe if they worked in refineries gas prices would lower. The fact is that our government probably dosent really want to rid them, because they do pay taxes. It takes our society an average of 22 yrs to 'grow' a tax paying worker. Now, why not just bring a tax payer over in a week??? come on, you know the republican belief in "big Business"actually prefers to hire lower paid workers, and outsource jobs. but hey, i didnt vote that way, YOU did. this whole immigration thing was a political stunt, from the Bush Administration, to rally up some support.

Here is the perfect answer. How about the 5 - 12 million americans who are homeless, living on the streets of our great cities, and unemployed people who were born in this country getting those jobs?. That would be great. I bet if you gave them a chance to get out of that cardboard box they call home they would not give a crap about what the job was. As long as they got paid or fed every day. Why not try that before opening the borders and giving every illegal immigrant a home, job and full social security benefits that I, a US CITIZEN, am not entitled to.

No one is saying we should get rid of Mexican workers legally here.
As to who will do the jobs the illegal immigrants do, it will be the same people who did it when we had much fewer illegal immigrants, back when construction paid a living wage.
The same people who do these jobs in states where there are few illegal immigrants.
New people we will select according to our own criteria if we decide we need more, future, immigration.

You have been so brainwashed into believing that lie. Do you seriously believe that if all the illegals were sent back, not a single American would step in to do those jobs? The only thing that would change would be the price. And quite frankly, I'd rather pay $4.00 for a head of lettuce than have my wages taxed and the funds used to support their needs.

the mexicans are taking jobs in warehouses, factories, fast food places, motels, everyware, they are using false id to get the jobs.
that's why the government can't catch up with them. They use
the same id to get free medical care, food at food banks. they don't just stay in the fields. Some warehouses are just all mexicans all over the country. I saw them all over the United States, when I was Driving Truck and going to all these places

The federal government collects taxes, but local governments are obliged to pay for immigrants. This is not a problem of immigration, but of government finances.
The immigration issue is largely about nationalizing the costs of the border states with federal aid.
We can nationalize this stupid non-issue but we can't for Katrina victims, c'mon... money and power homes, money and power...
