Don't they have cable tv?? Isn't talking about celebrities more interesting than talking about a co-worker or neighbor?

Talking about celebrities is never as interesting as talking about people you actually know. And be careful not to misinterpret real interest with shallow gossip.

Some of the worst gossips I know really care about the people they gossip about. They try to learn as much as possible about the people they care about to help and support them. So test your gossips if they are just nosy or really interested.

i think people gossip to make friends. or a way to keep on a conversation. or to even start a conversation with someone. co-worker or neighbor because it's more realistic to talk about. celebrities are too fake to believe, i mean, most celebrities who are dramatic are actors/actresses anyway.
