Depends on what you are referring to when you say the dark. If you are talking about the King of Darkness then probably a bit. If you are talking about Death, then definitely. If you are talking about the actual dark, not at all.

Yes, Jesus Christ was indeed afraid of the dark. The expression “let there be light” originally attributed to God in the Old Testament, Genesis, was in fact muttered by Jesus Christ in a plaintive plea to his father to have 24 hour light. Jesus saw no use in the darkness and was bitter that his father had indeed created both day and night. His fear became more intense each year. It all began when Jesus was a small child of around five years old. He heard a creaking noise from the door as he slept fitfully and one of the shepherds came into his room. The shepherd gently woke the young child, and then proceeded to “touch” Jesus on parts of his body that made him uncomfortable. This went on each night for a fortnight, with the shepherd getting more brazen each night. It was at this time Jesus mentioned the inappropriate goings on to his father, God. God became enraged, and made a delicious meal of the shepherd, which evolved into the Shepherd’s pie that is eaten today. However, the fear of darkness had set in, and from that day forward Jesus had an unbreakable fear of darkness. As more and more shepherds entered Jesus’s room, he got more and more terrified of the darkness, and the meals he would get the following day, which were usually shepherd’s pie. When Jesus started having the apostles following him around, he made them stay up each night with candles and lanterns to shine their light to protect him. Until his death, Jesus was always afraid of the darkness.

Jesus was in no way afraid of the dark. He knew what caused the darkness and came to rescue people from it.
Jhn 8:12 Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.

Jesus? Use your brain for just a few seconds.
If Jesus died, he could NOT have been God.
Do Gods die? Do they?
If Jesus 'died' on Friday and 'undied' on Sunday, what else besides a few hours was sacrificed?
What's the BIG deal?
David Blaine can do that on TV.
Why be a Christian who has to accept this type of thinking?

No. God was brave enough to face death on the cross for us sinful, undeserving people now, why would He fear the dark of all things possible that you could think of? And He was and is and will always be the Light. Doesn't light scare away darkness?!

I have no clue. He might be......but I highly doubt that he was afraid of the dark because he is the Messiah.

I don't know but after you are beaten and hung on a cross I don't think things like darkness worry you that much.

a man like Jesus, who is refered to as God, only becomes so by overcoming all his fears, detaching oneself from the pain that is caused to you is so difficult, untill u r in complete surrender to the almighty. If he could do that, what fear would he have.
