Yes. For some. More and more people have becomed obsessed with internet. People all over the world are in their closets 24/7 looking at god knows what on the computer. Its time for society to go back to when things were good. Go outside and be in peace with nature. Although the internet is very useful it is being taken advantage of and being a great hazard to the lives on man-kind.

No, I think it empowers those who are usually too timid to speak. And lends anonymity to the bold and connects points of views from all over the world. How so do you think it is anti-social? Tone is non-existent, but you have smileys and all to make that known. I think it is great as long as people don't become too predatory.

Anti-social is a commonly misused word, it doesn't mean shy or loner it means criminal. Someone who is anti-social isn't on the Internet they are out beating people up or robbing video stores.
