I think it is okay to be single. My advice would be to enjoy your single life and take the time to find someone who you truly enjoy being with. If you hook up with a guy just because you don't want to be single then more than likely you are not going to be happy.

Most definitely! What would make you think it's not? I wish more people knew that you don't have to get married and you don't have to have kids and that YES it is OK to be on your own and single! There is so much out there! Live it up you know!

It is perfectly fine to be single. Never had a significant other until my late 30's. I was too busy taking care of myself and being happy with who I was.
I have found a fantastic husband now and it was a first marriage for both of us.

Well I always think I want a boyfriend then once I do I realize how bad it sucks. Lol its not really that bad but you usually are happier single. At least thats how it is with me.

Absolute. We as women are programed to think our value lies in if a man wants us. Now don't get me wrong, I like my men, but I don't need one to feel valued. I am enjoying being single. I'm getting to know myself for real for the first time ever.

todaly i was 4 a long time not becuase iboys didnt ask i just didnt want a bf but now i have one and im about 2 dump him i will stay single 4 a while longer

It's o.k. but you don't want to be single forever. It seems to me your'e not in a good relationship that you'd rather be out of or you just can't seem to find the right partner who has it all together eh? Take heart, your time will come.

Of course it is! These days you can be single and it's no big deal. I have one friend who's in her mid-40s who has never had a boyfriend, and she doesn't want one. And no, she's not a lesbian. She just has no sexual desire of any sort. Hey, whatever works...
