There are some good answers to you situation so far... but I would like to offer some 'life-changing' advice that will leave everyone involved better off (except the purple monkey).

Now, Benny obviously has strong feelings for Purple Monkey. Benny is young and has fallen for Purple Monkey in a big way. However, little does he know that Purple Monkey is just using him to make Orange Monkey jealous (there is an Orange Monkey to whom she is secretly married and who visited her when you were at work). They separated because Orange was sick and tired of paying for Purple's extravagant lifestyle of high priced cotton dinners and trips to the Famous Carnival of Guatemala where all her best friends stay at the Dart Balloon game hut.

When your kids see Benny 'being friendly' with Purple Monkey, they naturally ask you, "What's going on?" - the kids know Purple and Orange are supposed to be together.

To let your kids know that Monkeys should be one monkey monkeys, I suggest the next time you see Yellow Monkey, you invite it into your home and ask Purple Monkey to hit the road.

Benny could use a good friend like Yellow Monkey who could help him find a good girlfriend that won't use him and then leave him.

As you can see, this entiresituation was caused by a purple monkey that could never live within its means. Its good that the kids recognized this and have asked you what’s going on.

Now its up to you to get that purple monkey out of the house and give Benny a better chance to find someone who will care for him.

A big purple monkey? Thank God it's not a big purple dinosaur. I assume you're talking about a stuffed monkey. Just tell your children it's the dog's way of playing with the toy. Tell them that only dogs play that way.

Getting them fixed doesn't help him! Peopl Come on! My dog is fixed and she still did it until trained not to. Vinigar helps. Pour dabs of vinigar in spots all over it. That we he stops and she keeps the monkey. ONLY IF YOU CANNOT BEAR THE SMELL AFTER YOU DO IT, spray lysol, gust or some spray on it heavily, so it smells nice afterwards. Dogs have good noses. They can still smell the vinigar, but we cannot. Or tell your daughter you will get her an ice cream cone if you can have the monkey. Or tell the girl that the monkey passed away. You can also tell her he got married and ran off, went to visit an uncle, grew up and started his own life, or some excuse like that and pitch the monkey.

Don't tell them anything - get the dog neutered immediately. It's not really sanitary to let your daughter carry a stuffed animal that your dog has been using to gratify himself. Keep the monkey on a shelf where the dog can't get at it or close the door to her room.

If you kids arn't old enough to understand then I would tell them that he is just playing with it. I'm assuming the monkey is the dogs toy... Or maybe that it's his way of loving on it lol. That's pretty funny.

I believe a more important question is why exactly do you have a big purple monkey.....? Or do i really not want to go there.....?

That's funny! Our pet rabbit does that to my kids stuffed animals. They're young so I just tell them that he's dancing with the animals!

If they're older I would explain what the dogs doing.

Good luck♥
