Speaking from a Judeo-Christian perspective. Some people believe that God created more than just our world. Those same people believe that man is created in God's image. If you accept this multiple world creationist point of view that would mean that aliens are much like us and would have a similar faith basis.
If you reject creationism altogether then you have to assume that an alien species would be much different than us since the events and environment around the evolution of that species would be so different from our own. In that case, an alien society may have "mystic" beliefs of their own but it would be highly unlikely they would be similar to any earthly belief.
That's probably also true if you believe that God only created this world but still think there may be alien life. That would have to mean that life on other planets either evolved or was created by powerful entities other than Earth's God. Either way, you wouldn't expect their belief set to be the same as ours but it would be reasonable to expect they may have some equivalent.
Of course, we all know the truth that the "answer to life, the Universe, and everything" is 42 and the Earth is actually a vast supercomputer whose purpose is to figure out what that answer actually means.

An truly interesting question !
I believe this way : If there are aliens out there, they probably call us aliens as well ...
I believe too that we are responsible to tell others about God, like our parents and others primarily did for us.
Should we meet , and are able to communicate, i believe their souls will live as well, (if they are not live already through knowledge of God ) Seeing that souls have no physical form or colour as such, our souls would be identical ? Regards.

You are asking two questions. The first is a faith based question as no one can honestly prove whether God is real or not. We believe what we believe based on our experience, our background and whatever makes us feel most comfortable with ourselves. As to the second question it is likely that any being of significant intelligence will question it's existence. This usually results in the belief of some form of a higher power. It is doubtful that they would believe as we do as even we have so many separate beliefs as to what or who God is in our varying religions.

Yes they believe in the energy called God. Many beings from other planets are already working with people on earth to bring more focus on God as an energy and also help us grow and learn as we are in a major growth spurt.Evolving into beings of higher vibration and light.

Wouldn't it be funny if the aliens believed in a different god -- and they turned out to be right?

It seems unlikely. In humans, belief in gods originated with the invention of agriculture. Religious beliefs spread themselves because of aspects of human nature that are somewhat unique even among animals on earth.
There's no reason to suspect aliens, or even other intelligent life on earth (chimps, dolphins, whales, etc.) would believe in gods.

If there are such things as aliens....then I would say yes, they believe in God too.
Why?
Because the Bible says that every living, breathing thing praises God. If aliens are real, they'd praise God too.
